“My inspiration is literature, architecture and music. Marquerite Duras, Julia Kristeva, Gilles Deleuze, Zaha Hadid, Jeffrey Kipnis, DJ Shadow. They all concentrate on rhythm, flow and movement. This is where my interest lies. When creating an image I concentrate on things like direction and speed: How much speed exists in an object/idea and where is it directed? The rhythms and themes of appearing/disappearing are the basis of my art as well.”
